Whether you want to know more about a Nitro PDF Pro trial or need help activating your license, we have all the answers you need.

You may be unable to re-activate your software if you are using Nitro PDF Pro 12 or an older version such as Nitro PDF Pro 11, Nitro PDF Pro 10, or Nitro PDF Pro 9 (Error message "There was a connection issue"). Because our activation servers no longer support older versions of Nitro PDF Pro, you'll need to update your software to Nitro PDF Pro 13 or the most recent release of Nitro PDF Pro 12.

If you're a single user, you'll have the option of upgrading to Nitro PDF Pro 12 for free or paying a discounted amount to upgrade to Nitro PDF Pro 13.

This update can be placed on top of your existing Nitro PDF Pro license. Please go to our downloads page and install Nitro PDF Pro 12.16.9.574 if you want to upgrade to Nitro PDF Pro 12. The original serial number will be used to activate your new license.

Please visit our website to obtain your new serial number if you decide to update to Nitro PDF Pro 13.

If you're a Nitro business customer, please contact your IT department for help or file a support ticket (Activation option for non-VIP customers) and we'll be happy to help.

You have 14 days to trial Nitro PDF Pro for free before buying it. You'll have full access to all of Nitro PDF Pro's features throughout your free trial. Nitro PDF Pro will begin running in trial mode after installation.

Nitro PDF Pro will revert to "expired trial" mode after the 14-day trial period has expired. This notification will appear in the lower right corner of your screen.

Following your purchase, you will be given a serial number to need to activate Nitro PDF Pro on your device.

There are two ways to activate Nitro PDF Pro, depending on your license type:

To activate your copy of Nitro PDF Pro with our single user or business license, simply open the application and select the Help tab » About Nitro PDF Pro » Activate ». Please input your serial number and then press the Activate button.

Using our Enterprise license to activate: Simply launch Nitro PDF Pro and go to the Help menu » About Nitro PDF Pro » Activate to activate your copy. Please input your license information, including your first and last names, in the activation box. Then select your license file and click Activate after clicking Load from File.

Within Nitro PDF Pro, the "Check for Updates" option may be found under the Help menu. Because this function is presently broken, we recommend that clients download the most recent version of Nitro PDF Pro from our Downloads page. Your programme will be updated to the newest version if you click "Download Nitro PDF Pro." To find out what version of Nitro PDF Pro you have, go to the Help tab and select "About Nitro PDF Pro."

Only serial keys with three or fewer licenses are eligible for our License Portal. If you require additional licenses, please submit a support ticket to our team.

If you used our License Portal, don't have active Nitro VIP Access, and still can't activate your Nitro PDF Pro license, please let us know in our Community Forum so we can investigate further.

Yes! Nitro PDF Pro has been updated to work with Mac OS X. You can either download a trial version or buy a one-time license. To learn more, see our pricing page.

Please keep in mind that the Nitro PDF Pro activation process differs depending on whether you're using Windows or MacOS. As a result, any Nitro PDF Pro license purchased on Windows cannot be used on MacOS, and vice versa.
